I had a wonderfully relaxing holiday stay at Cottage On Main. Its location is fantastic, with restaurants and shops just a short walk away. Plus, it’s close to the river, which is lovely. the continental breakfast was delightful, featuring fresh fruit and lovely bread, making for a pleasant start to the day.

I came here for 3 nights and had a relaxing stay. The venue was lovely, I enjoyed the location adjacent to local restaurants and kayaking opportunities, Franklin and Wooden Boat Association, and shops and restaurants, and river views. The hotel had indeed a marvellous location in the centre of everything I required. Bread and fruit were delicious and overall there was variety of food...

Exceptionally nice location in the calm area, close enough to close to shops, and the river. One of the best continental breakfasts with fresh fruit and fresh bread, as for instance.

My king room had central heating, an iron and ironing board, and coffee/tea making equipment. I really enjoyed the river view. the location was comfortable and perfect, with friendly service and some of the best restaurants in Franklin nearby.

Cottage On Main Review. I had a truly lovely stay during my holidays. the location was beautiful, right in the heart of everything I needed. It was conveniently close to cafes, restaurants, and the stunning foreshore, as well as shops and the Franklin and Wooden Boat Association.

We had a great time at Cottage On Main! the bed was comfortable and the room felt spacious and cozy. the location is fantastic, as it’s just a short walk to some delightful restaurants next door, the Wooden Boat Association, and the beautiful foreshore. It's also conveniently located near Coastal Heaven, the perfect spot for dinner.

The continental breakfast was appetizing. Our room was cozy and comfy. the hotel was in a magnificent position next to a restaurant, making it convenient for our stay in Franklin for a wedding, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and the stunning foreshore.

We had a comfortable night's sleep and enjoyed a hot shower with good water pressure. The generous continental breakfast included fresh bread and fruit, making for a delightful start to the day. The location was ideal, being a quiet township with nearby eateries and short drives to other places of interest. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

I had a great stay in this charming town. Everything from shops to restaurants was nearby, and the hotel's location near the river was perfect. The facilities were clean, and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed the hotel's delicious breakfast, and the parking and transportation were convenient.

Located near a great restaurant with winter fare, hot coffee, and a lovely gallery. the river provides a beautiful outlook. Plenty of homey touches in the room like chocolates, lollies, and a variety of coffee and tea. the host is welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area.

The sheets were stained and there were issues with the shampoo and conditioner.

Excellent continental breakfast array. Delicious vegan baked pasty. Host went above and beyond. Perfect location. Accommodating host. Clean facilities. Comfortable bed. Charming town with great eat out options. Walkable and close to other towns. Enjoyed Thai take-away on balcony overlooking river. Highly recommend and would go back.

We had a great Easter weekend getaway! The breakfasts were diverse and delicious, catering to all tastes. The location was perfect, within walking distance to an array of restaurants and cider options. We also loved the peaceful views of the scenic river from our room.

While the fold-out bed was surprisingly comfortable, the creaky frame was a bit unsettling. the soundproofing was much less impressive than advertised, making it difficult to fully relax and enjoy our stay.
